aboutMe
I am a self taught artist that grew up in a small town in South Texas, on a five acre ranch in the middle of nowhere. That being said, I pulled my inspiration from doodling landscapes and animals. I wasn’t an only child but since my siblings were much older, I mostly spent time by myself watching cartoons and checking out drawing books from our local library.
As I grew older I got into video games and comic books which pushed my interest in art further however I started to develop an interest in digital art. My style then became more fantasy-like, I was pulling inspiration from BROM, Yoshitaka Amano, Anato Finnstark. Digital art was intriguing because so many tools were available to use and creating them was always a fun experiment. Photoshop was my first digital application (even though it was for photographs) and then later it would go to Sai, Coral but I didn’t have a digital tablet. Instead I would doodle on paper, scan and color in PS. I did that throughout middle school and high school until I got into college and decided to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. Going to school allowed me to explore other art techniques professionally so most of my artwork became mixed media. My style then became more mechanical and bloody. After graduating college, moving to a bigger city and working full time, I started to develop an interest in photography and videography. Art is always evolving, I learn something new everyday.
Now I mostly focus my attention on graphics, photography and videography.
